WARNING: Chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive toxicity, including acrylamide, are present in some of our crackers and bread crisps. Acrylamide is not added to our products, but results from baking foods that naturally contain sugar and amino acids. As a result of what is also known as the Maillard reaction, acrylamide is formed and is present in some of our cracker and crisp products as well as a host of other baked, roasted, and fried goods including breads, cereals, chips, and coffee.

Your personal cancer risk is affected by a variety of factors. The FDA has not advised people to stop eating baked goods that contain acrylamide. For more information regarding the FDA’s views, visit www.fda.gov. For more information about acrylamide and Proposition 65, please visit www.oehha.ca.gov/prop65/acrylamide.html.
